The River is a drama produced in South Africa that follows the exploits of two families from different economic echelons as they fight for ownership of a recently discovered diamond at Cullinan, close to Pretoria. These are the Dikana and Mokoena families.

Who Joined The River Recently?
Cornet Mamabolo
Cornet Thabiso Mamabolo recently joined the River after leaving the small screen for many months. The name of his character is Lerumo. However, his appearance was brief as his character was killed by police commissioner Zweli Dikana (played by Hlomla Dandala) for killing women in the streets of Refilwe.
