The song, which translates to wedding or marriage in isiZulu, was a commercial success and has garnered more than one million views on YouTube.

The 29-year-old further collaborated with DJ Maphorisa, Vigro Deep, and Tsisto on an Amapiano track titled ‘Money’. Mawhoo and Hlubi Nkosi’s Alleged Affair

In June 2023, it was rumored that Mawhoo was dating Londie London‘s ex-fiancé and baby daddy, Hlubi Nkosi. The rumor was sparked after some Twitter users discovered that the businessman and the amapiano singer appeared to be in the same airplane traveling outside South Africa after they shared pictures that seemed to have similar plane seats with the same passenger behind, though they didn’t appear together in the photo.

The two denied the rumor at the time. However, they hinted that they dated in subliminal posts they shared on IG in August 2023, which showed that they had gone their separate ways. While Mawhoo posted a video of herself singing along to Beyoncé’s song, ‘Irreplaceable’, Nkosi shared a story about people thinking they could replace someone, but might never meet them twice.
