In the same month, a video of two singing along to Kabza De Small’s hit song Asibe Happy, which is all about ignoring the world and being happy with your lover, also made the rounds on social media, further sparking rumors of dating between the two.
Thuli’s meeting point was at the Jojo Rooftop Lounge in Maboneng, where she was performing a paid gig. She admitted that she was nervous about playing with Maphoria initially but that she was excited she finally did.

Not only did the duo entertain South Africans via IG Live, but also some internet users also picked up that Maphorisa may have gifted Thuli with a set of bracelets, which his fans saw him buy at Cartier in Dubai in his IG videos. The DJ had recently returned from Dubai at that time, where he gave himself a treat by buying expensive items and having fun.
The two performers gave the public the impression that they were not in a relationship after the videos went viral and the IG Live. While Thuli denied dating the top-notch DJ, Maphorisa, on his own part, ignored the public comments and rumors and refused to break his silence.
