Mandela Isn’t A Hero, He Sold SA To Whites For His Freedom – Mr. Mugabe

Okay, the headline above isn’t exactly how the ancient leader of Zimbabwe said what he said about South Africa’s greatest son. But, that’s what he meant.

Not long past, we reported that Uncle Bob pointed out that whites have been left with so much power in South Africa and blamed Mandela for the “anomaly”.

Mr. Mugabe reportedly said:

“…(Whites) are in control of land, industries, and companies and are now the employers of the blacks. These blacks have failed to liberate themselves from white supremacy all because of what Mandela did.

“I was … recently talking to a minister in President Jacob Zuma’s office and I did ask him how they have handled the land issue after attaining independence.

“I did ask him why they left the whites with everything. He answered my question … and said: ‘Ask your friend Mandela.'”

In response to Mr. Mugabe’s criticism of Nelson Mandela, Gwede Mantashe on behalf of the African National Congress (ANC) asked Mr. Mugabe to focus on rebuilding the Zimbabwe’s economy he destroyed and stop making outrageous remarks about the late South African human rights activist.

The ANC secretary-general divulged that he has lodged a complaint with ZANU-PF (Mugabe’s political party). The complaint according to Mantashe, was a formal request for Zimbabwe’s ruling party to check Uncle Bob’s excesses and to get him quit tarnishing Mandela’s legacies.

“I phoned the secretary-general of Zanu-PF and told him Mugabe may be all over Madiba but the reality is that you’ve destroyed your economy.

We continue to create black millionaires in this country – including Zimbabwean millionaires.  And it’s been done in a  responsible manner that has not brought our economy to its knees in the quest for populism.

So restrain your president from making statements that are unresearched,” Mantashe said.

Still, Mugabe wouldn’t shut up about Mandela and white South Africans. He again, lashed out at Mandela saying his interest was to be freed from prison; not getting better living conditions for black South Africans.

To Mugabe, Mandela selfishly bullied all the freedom fighters out of participating in the negotiations for the future of South Africa when he was freed from jail.

“Look at what he produced. Is this what they agreed upon with the whites? Remember he was coming from prison. What was the most important thing for him was his release from prison and nothing else.

He cherished that freedom more than anything else and forgot why he was put in jail,” proclaimed Zim’s President.

Thereafter, he went on and declared that Madiba “believed to be equal with the whites and made the biggest mistake of ignoring the land issue.”

“The whites claim that everyone is equal in South Africa … why would blacks want to grab the land now?” Mugabe asked.

He added that what black South Africans are good for is to work in Johannesburg industries and mines.
