Whatever You Do, Don’t Date Any Hawks Officer’s Ex-wife


The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is investigating charges of murder and discharge of fire arm against a 35 Year old police officer based at the HAWKS in Pretoria. The Hawks Officer Murdered Two Men For Dating His Ex-wife

As alleged, the suspect visited his 32-year old  estranged wife’s apartment where they trash-talked each other. The officer became violent and pointed a fire arm at the woman.

He reportedly fired shots at her direction but she managed to escape unharmed. After that, he visited the two men dating the ex wife and shot them dead at their homes.

“…the Hawks officer proceeded by going to the first deceased aged 28 at his residence in Thokoza shot him dead and continued to the second one aged 30 at his shack in Thokoza, shot him dead as well, and later he handed himself over at the Police station in Thokoza, (SIC)” IPID related.

BuzzSouthAfrica learnt that the suspect appeared at the Palm Springs Magistrate Court on the 25 April 2016 with the case remanded to a future date for mental observation.

Aside that, IPID yesterday, arrested two members of the Soweto flying squad for shooting and killing a fellow officer.

Robbie Raburabu, IPID spokesman related that the police in January this year, “were following up on the information of a hijacked Ford Figo which was spotted around Soweto.

On following that information, the two arrested police officers shot and killed another police officer whom they alleged that he blocked their thoroughfare and therefore prevented them from getting the hijacked car.

IPID investigated the murder and the members, a 49-year-old warrant officer and a 29-year-old constable, were arrested this morning 09 May 2016 and appeared in the Kliptown Magistrates court.”

The officers were charged with murder and defeating the ends of justice. They will remain in custody until they make a formal bail application on the 11th of May, Raburabu further disclosed.
