Here’s Malema’s Strong Advice To ANC’s Birthday Goers

EFF commander-in-chief Julius Malema has advised young people to stay away from the ANC’s 105th birthday celebration scheduled to hold at Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Sunday.

The vigorous opposition leader insisted on Twitter that any young person who honours the ANC’s invitation makes himself a traitor and a disgrace to the liberation struggle.

According to him, the ANC’s 105th Birthday “is a gathering of the rich who are only going there to show off their ill-gotten wealth.” Therefore, young people must not be part of them.

Malema advised: “The Sunday occasion is for the politically connected black elite, it is their opportunity to show off their ill-gotten wealth. If you are young and find yourself at Orlando stadium on Sunday then you are a traitor, the unemployed and the poor in Soweto must stay home.”

The number one fighter also cast doubts on the ANC’s claims that it would “reclaim Gauteng…in 2019”. He downplayed the claims and vowed that he would ensure the ANC doesn’t reclaim the votes of Tshwane and Johannesburg.

In a bid to frustrate the ANC, Juju urged the Democratic Alliance-run Johannesburg and Tshwane metros to “remove all ANC-deployed cadres” from the cities’ administrations.

He beseeched the Maimane-led party to ensure the ANC is pushed out through the door in the 2019 national government elections. Recall that the EFF bundled the ANC out of Johannesburg and Tshwane for the first time since 1994 when they voted for the DA to take over power in the metros.

In a related story, the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) says the ANC has no reason to celebrate its 105th birthday because it has run out of ideas, morals and has no clear strategy on how to radically transform the economy.

The union maintained that it’s glaring the yearly event has lost all meaning and relevance.

“It is ironic that the party has chosen to hold its January 8th statement in Orlando Stadium, in a province where they only control one metro – and the rest are governed by the opposition.

Five months after the local government elections, and the ANC is still experiencing the aftershocks of the results,” Numsa said in a statement.
