Somizi is very excited about this gig. Thus, taking to Instagram on Monday, Somizi said it was an honour to be part of “this history in the making event as the MC”. He posted a copy of the concert’s poster with Cassper on it, telling fans that tickets were still available for the event.

He wrote;

“Such an honor to be part of this history in the making event. As The MC. this boy @casspernyovest is fearless shemmm. But why [wouldn’t] he be when he’s got God. If u haven’t bought yo ticket yet, hurry up. Don’t leave it till last min and regret. #filluporlandostadium.”

Somizi’s announcement may have boosted the number of partygoers who will storm the venue. Fans were overly excited to hear he’s hosting the event.

Earlier this year, Cassper Nyovest who filled the Coca-Cola Dome last year in October announced to his fans that he hoped to fill Orlando Stadium too. Notably, the stadium is way bigger than the dome with a 40 000 capacity.

The musician who said he was struggling to get sponsors for the event which he said would cost him R25 million, landed cellular giant MTN as headline sponsor.

Cassper took to Twitter to share the news with fans;

“It’s not everyday a corporate company gets behind the dream of an African black child and
genuinely help him/her. Ayeye MTN Ayeye!!!”

Though MTN did not disclose details of the contract, it was pleased to be of help.
