Meet Minnie’s Replacement On SABC 1 Sports Show SoccerZone

Earlier this month, TV presenter Minnie Dlamini announced that she has officially resigned from her position as co-host on SABC 1 sports show SoccerZone.

The beautiful host who has been on the show every Monday for the past four years decided it was time to explore her horizon.

Consequently, Minnie shocked fans when she announced that she would be leaving the show. Her reason being to “grow” and “focus on other business ventures”.

“I have resigned from SABC Sport to focus on my other business ventures. I have loved my time with the SABC Sports family and will miss them dearly. It pains me to realize that I won’t be seeing my Thom Thom (Thomas Mlambo) and Dr. Mnandi every Monday as they have become family‚” Minnie said in a statement.

“I need to grow and explore various opportunities in entertainment and business. I’m super excited about 2017 and working very hard to make it a success.”

Apparently, it was for the greater good and fans wished her the best in her future endeavours.

Meanwhile, the announcement stirred up speculations about who would take over from her. This went on for days with fans making wild guesses on the matter.

Eventually, it was on Monday evening that the new host on the show was unveiled. It turned out that the new host on SABC 1 sports show SoccerZone is none other than renowned SABC Sports broadcaster Vaylen Kirtley. Having anchored a slew of sports TV shows, she seemed suitable for the job.
