Paseka Motsoeneng who is popularly known as Prophet Mboro was at The Complimentary Breakfast show on Tuesday morning at Jacaranda FM where he boldly threw more light on the reasons why he anoints people’s underpants.
The controversial prophet gave a vivid description of the process of blessing the underpants.
In his description, he painted the picture of “an invisible man” who visits people in the night while they sleep, rapes them most times and as a result, they contract sexually transmitted diseases or even develop disorders.
Prophet Mboro claims that these problems emerge as a result of spiritual forces looming around in the dead of the night.
During the ‘blessing of underpants’, Prophet Mboro speaks to “those underwears” as he anoints them he adds, “The power of God will get in” .
Controversial Prophet Mboro whose followers are remarkably sizeable, denied previous claims that he went to heaven following the outburst of photographs of him in heaven which went viaral on the internet and social media around Easter.
Commenting, Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, the Chairperson of the South African Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural‚ Religious and Linguistic Communities said the visit to heaven for snapshots is another fundraising gimmick as far as the commission is concerned.
Last week, South African Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural‚ Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL) made an announcement that it has laid formal charges against Prophet Paseka Motsoeneng.
The chairwoman of the commission Thoko Xaluva-Mkhwanazi revealed that they had opened a file of criminal charges at Hillbrow police station against the prophet. The commission laid the charges in relation to Mboro’s unwillingness to cooperate with the rules of the commission.
“We have formally laid charges against Mboro. He has consistently refused to give us financial statements or three months’ bank statements. We are looking into whether his religion is commercialised. Read more here
