A lot of things happened in the entertainment industry this year, but right now, we are more interested in Cassper’s 2016.
Apparently, the rapper is a hard worker and his efforts seem to be paying off well.
Cassper’s 2016 Career Milestones
Back in July, SA rapper Cassper Nyovest announced to fans that his debut album had gone multi-platinum. Like that wasn’t enough, Cassper added that his second album has been certified double-platinum.

Then there was Cassper’s FillUpOrlandoStadiumConcert which was a huge success. Though he didn’t completely reach his target during the show which took place in October, the rapper pulled off one of the biggest music concerts in the entertainment history of Mzansi.
With over 30 000 fans, the rapper almost filled one of the biggest stadiums in the country. In fact, the 2 Legit hitmaker Cassper Nyovest left an indelible mark on the walls of history when he took to the stage to perform. He put on a good show that will not be forgotten in a jiffy.
The event boasted a star-studded line-up including Rapper Riky Rick; Wololo hitmaker Babes Wodumo; Emtee and Ngerian starboy Wizkid. Others include – Doc Shebeleza, Nadia Nakai and Mgarimbe.
Recognition And Accolades
Cassper’s concept of a floating stage during his last concert was so glam that it caught the attention of some Americans.
Following Kanye West’s mid-show rant in October about n****s copying his ideas, accusing fingers started pointing at SA rapper Cassper Nyovest. Consequently, Cassper was accused of copying Kanye’s floating stage idea. Nonetheless, Cassper insisted that the idea was so last year for him. In order words, he didn’t get it from Kanye.

Again, Cassper’s efforts in 2016 were rewarded with several nominations and awards in different categories. At the SA hip-hop awards, Cassper was the highest winner with four awards
Also, the Mama I Made It hitmaker really made it on the cover of Forbes Africa this year. The appearance was a confirmed deal and Cassper couldn’t wait to share it.

Six Packs At Last!
After several trips to the gym, Cassper finally traded his fats for some six pack. This came prior to his Orlando show.
Beef? What Beef?
Frenemies Cassper and counterpart AKA finally kissed and made up this year. The two were caught on camera hugging it out at Cassper’s after party following a successful concert at Orlando Stadium. Thus, the rappers ended their long-standing feud in a heartbeat.
Cassper’s 2016 brought a lot of goodies except love. After breaking up with Boity Thulo, Cassper declared love for TV personality Minnie Dlamini publicly. Nevertheless, the feeling wasn’t mutual as Minnie pulled a fast one on us when she suddenly got engaged, leaving Cassper “devastated.”
State Of The Art Fleet Of Cars
At least Cassper has his Bentleys worth millions to console him on Minnie’s engagement.
