Well, the President is responsible for certain things. So you can blame him for the hardship, blame him for the crimes, call him Zupta, regard him as clueless and preach his incompetence. The president however, cannot be held accountable for your actions. You can’t go about doing what you ought not to do and blame the president for your actions. We can’t have you vandalize ATMs because you dislike President Zuma.
According to a Daily Sun report, a sane man at Uitenhage, Eastern Cape vandalized Nedbank and Standard Bank ATMs screaming and calling on the president to give him his money.
A security guard narrated that he saw the man “sitting down for a long time staring at the money machines. Then he picked up a big rock. I thought he would sit on it. But he lifted it up with both his hands and went towards the Nedbank ATM.
He shouted, ‘Zuma, give me my money!’ and threw the heavy rock at the ATM. Then he picked it up again and threw it at the Standard Bank ATM.”
Confirming this incident, the police told Daily Sun that a case of malicious damage to property was opened against the 48-year-old man who thereafter, appeared in KwaNobuhle Magistrates Court to plead his case. He was reportedly released on R500 bail after the case was adjourned to 13th April.”
While the guard diagnosed that the man was “stressed because of his zero bank balance,” the man’s sister disclosed that whenever “he is drunk he always shouts at the president.”
According to her, “he is unemployed and he wants Zuma to pay him.” Ridiculous huh?
