SA rap-rave group Die Antwoord has released a masterpiece, which replicates the happily never after story of Paralympian Oscar Pistorius and his deceased girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The unfortunate incident happened on Valentine’s Day 2013 when Oscar shot and killed Reeva. Pistorius had shot through the toilet door, claiming he thought it was an intruder. Three years later, a similar story is being told by Die Antwoord in the new video for their single Banana Brain.
The video was released on Wednesday and has already been viewed half-a-million times. Meanwhile, the video features a number of scenes that share striking similarities to the 2013 Valentine’s Day shooting.
The group’s frontman Ninja is seen throughout the video wearing prosthetic limbs just like Oscar.
Moreover, the video shows him taking the group’s Yolandi Visser to a house party. Subsequently, she disappeared, only for Ninja to find her making out with a lady in a room. Ninja pulls her into another room and due to tension and anxiety, she appears to hallucinate about him pulling a gun on her.
Yolandi then runs into a bathroom to take refuge, while Ninja follows her and beats at the closed door. He then pulls a gun and fires shots at the door, before kicking the door down. The couple embraces each other and the party continues.

In addition, the suburban house which Ninja picks Yolandi up from is similar to that owned by Oscar.
Several prestigious international music publications have featured the video already.
Meanwhile, Paralympian Oscar Pistorius is serving a six-year jail time in prison for the murder of his girlfriend. Fruitless efforts have been made by the state to appeal the sentence on the basis that it’s not enough punishment for murder.
