The Black First Land First (BLF) wants Johann Rupert and 16 others to face the music for stealing R26 billion.
According to the movement, they’ve opened a criminal case against Johann Rupert and 16 others implicated in the theft of R26 billion from the South African Reserve Bank (SARS).
Stressing that the money belongs to the people and must be returned, BLF related that it submitted a statement of evidence to the police to assist it in investigating corruption by white capitalists who stole from the people.
Also, they indicated that they previously asked the former Public Protector, Advocate Thuli Mandonsela, to speed up the investigation on the issue.
“However she has time and again, after promising to finalize the matter by the end of 2015, left office without doing so. BLF hopes that the new Public Protector shall carry the investigation forward.since it is also a criminal matter, BLF will now open a criminal case with the police to recover the R26 billion and bring to book these criminals.
“(But), since it is also a criminal matter, BLF will now open a criminal case with the police to recover the R26 billion and bring to book these criminals,” stated BLF.
BLF warned that white capital is not relaxing and that there is panic in the ranks of the pro-Rupert forces. “They are undertaking a political process akin to that in Brazil and Venezuela to try and work up the people against President Zuma…,” BLF said.
Surprisingly, BLF kicked against the charges against Julius Malema saying it’s based on false claims of land occupations.
“Hand off Julius!” Cried BLF. “Those charges are false and vexatious. Malema never occupied any land and is not in the habit of doing so. He only speaks about it around election times – just to get some votes. Surely Mr. Malema has the freedom of expression like all citizens. He is an innocent man,” added the movement.
