AMVCA 2017: Here’s How Mzansi Slayed At The Awards

The winners of the AMVCA 2017 which is the fifth of its kind were announced last weekend at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites Lagos, Nigeria.

The annual Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards is a platform used to honour the remarkable works of outstanding individuals in the industry. The prestigious ceremony was hosted by TV personality Minnie Dlamini and IK Osakioduwa for the second year running.

In addition to scoring several nods on the nominees list, South Africa won in five different categories at the awards – Happiness is a Four Letter Word, Best Writer – Vaya, Best Movie SA – All About Love, Best Sound Editing – Vaya and Best Documentary – Alison.
