Born May 24, 1991, Ryan Edward Upchurch is from Nashville, Tennessee. It was here that the talented musician was born and brought up.

His early education was also obtained here, although the names of the schools he attended are not known. However, it was here that he got his greater influence on music, and he fell in love with country music before he later switched to other genres of music, including rap, country rock, and country hip hop.

He is of American nationality and white ethnic extraction. That said, it is not clear where his roots on the side of his parents, Patty Lynn Upchurch and Ronnie Upchurch, can be traced.

Beyond just being born and brought up in Cheatham County, Tennessee, the singer also currently lives there. He owns a ranch which is known as Ghost Ranch in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee.

The singular reason that people began thinking he was in the military was because of another individual who bears the same name as the singer in the military. The said individual, whose name is Clinton Ryan Upchurch, joined the U.S. Army in August 2004. He was subsequently assigned to Fort Campbell a year later.

At the time the other Ryan joined the force, Upchurch was only 13 years old, which is also evident that they are two different people. Before joining the force, the man confused for Ryan was previously with Finney County (Kan.) Sheriff’s Office, where he worked for several years, from 1997 to 2004.

Sadly, Army Spc. Clinton Ryan Upchurch lost his life in 2006 when he was killed during an operation in Iraq. It was made known that the man died while protecting other troops. Even though he died close to two decades ago when the American singer was still not an adult, the two men are still confused.
