LazyTown Cast Members and Where They are Today

LazyTown cast members are Magnús Scheving, Julianna Rose Mauriello, Chloe Lang, Stefán Karl Stefánsson, and Guðmundur Þór Kárason, who are still referred to, many years after the show came to an end. While some of the LazyTown cast members were only available for the first two seasons from 2004 to 2007, a majority were also available for the third and fourth seasons that continued from 2013 to 2014. 

The children’s series tells the story of LazyTown, a town where the people live an inactive lifestyle. A new girl to the town named Stephanie tries to get them back into being active with the help of the hero of Sportacus, but Robbie Rotten would not want that to happen because he prefers leading a lazy life, and he wants everyone to be like him.

It has already been 10 years after the end of the series, and a majority of the cast members are still active, while others have almost disappeared from the scene, and one has lost his life.

1. Magnús Scheving (Sportacus)

Magnús Scheving is one of the main cast members of the children’s TV series. The Icelandic actor, athlete, and producer played the role of Sportacus in the series. He was born on  November 10, 1964, and is now 59 years old. Magnus is the producer of the series and one of its directors. He was in the show from when it started until it came to an end in 2014.

Magnus has not been involved in many more things since then. However, he is now working towards building a LazyTown Theme park together with Helga Halldórsdóttir. The project began in 2017, and it is still ongoing. In 2017, he started the ROK restaurant with Hrefna Björk Sverrisdóttir, whom he married in 2020.

2. Julianna Rose Mauriello (Stephanie- Season 1 and 2)

Famous for productions such as Max & Ruby and A Fix, Julianna Rose Mauriello is also on The LazyTown, where she played the role of Stephanie. Born on May 26, 1991, and 32 years old, she was on the show for only the first and second seasons.

Since LazyTown, she has not been involved in many more things. Juliana has only been a part of several productions, including LazyTown Extra in 2008 and A Fix in the same year, and then she did voice acting for the TV mini-series The Doc Files in 2013.

3. Chloe Lang (Stephanie- Seasons 3 and 4)

In the third and fourth seasons of LazyTown, Chloe Lang was brought in to play the character of a much younger Stephanie. Born on November 14, 2001, and now 22 years old, she has not had many films to her name before or even after LazyTown.

At the moment, the actress is still in the business of acting. After the series, she appeared in several other works, including My Brother Jack (2013), Brooke & Carly (2016), 5th Borough (2020), and Gravesend (2021 to 2022).

4. Stefán Karl Stefánsson (Robbie Rotten)

The actor was born on July 10, 1975, and he took the role of Robbie Rotten in the show. He took the role of the main villain and was there from 2004, when it began, until 2014. He took a few roles after the series, including Titch and Ted Do Maths in 2015. Sadly, he passed away in 2020 at the age of 43.

5. Guðmundur Þór Kárason (Ziggy Zweet)

She is a famous actress who has come to be known for The Prince of Atlantis and the aforementioned series, where she took part in all the seasons.

Lorraine has not been involved in many other productions. In fact, she was only in one other TV series, Max & Ruby, which began in 2003 and lasted until 2019.

7. Ronald Binion (Pixel)

Yet another actor and puppeteer who took part in the show is Ronald Binion. He was on the show from its first to the last season, although he only had 29 episodes while playing the role of Pixel. After he puppeteered the character, not much has been known about him again.

However, his resume on his website indicates that since the show, he has worked on different projects, including Ghostbusters 2016 and The Tick 2017. Also, he has been to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he is involved with Katwe Corners as a puppeteer and puppet designer.

8. Kobie Powell (Pixel- Seasons 1 and 2)

Kobie Powell is a versatile actor, writer, and voice actor, Kobie Powell is the next person to have voiced the character of Pixel in the show. Born on November 26, 1973, and now 50 years old, he took part om at least 20 episodes in the first two seasons of The LazyTown.

His most recent work was Zombie 3, where he played Shrimpy, although he was not credited for the role.

9. Joanna Ruiz (Pixel, Season 1)

Joanna Ruiz (Pixel) One more person to voice Pixel (UK) in the children’s series is actress Joanna Ruiz. Born on February 1, 1970, and now 54 years old, she was in the first season of the show in 2004, and after 10 episodes, she left.

Since then, she has been very active with a lot of things. the actress has been very active with voice roles, including in both animations and Video games. She has voiced for several games in the Final Fantasy Franchise, including the Shadowbringers in 2019. Joana’s recent involvements were in The Peppa Pig Tales and The Creature Cases, both in 2022.

Knowing is also another LazyTown cast member who played the role of Pixel, although in only a few episodes in the second season. Born on February 25, 1980, and the brother to actress Christie Knowings, he is still very much active in the film industry since leaving the children’s series.

He is now in shows such as Sesame Street, which he joined in 2007, and Nature Cat, which he joined in 2018.

11. Jodi Eichelberger (Stingy)

He was only in the production for the first two seasons, although it is still one of his most known works. She also had a little puppetry role for Pixel in the series. She was in the series from the first season to the fourth.

After LazyTown, Westwood took part in some other productions, including The Furchester Hotel in 2015 and then the not-so-popular film The LazyTown Movie in 2023. This means that even though she is already in her 70s, the actress is still active.

14. Aymee Garcia (Trixie Troubleby)

Cuban/American puppeteer and actress Aymee is also one of the LazyTown cast members. She voiced the character of Trixie Troubleby, who is better known as Trixie and who represents a lack of respect for rules and impatience in the series. Although her date of birth and age are unknown, it is no secret that she started her career in 1995 in the TV series Jelly Bean Jungle. In LazyTown, her role came in the final season.

With many productions to her name before the TV series, including It’s s Big Big World and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, she has not had many more after the show. However, she had roles in Dear Evan Hansen (2021), Slumberkins (2022), The Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (2022), and The LazyTown Movie (2023). She is still very much involved in the film industry.

15. Sarah Burgess (Trixie)

Sarah Burgess has had many roles in the series, although she is best recognized for playing Trixie. Born on June 7, 1970, and is now 53 years old, the multitalented actress, puppeteer, and vocal artist also puppeteered for Ziggy in LazyTown Extra, while in the UK version of the show, she voiced Stingy.

LazyTonw is her first known production, and after the show, she also took part in Pop Art (2008) as a puppeteer, Imagine That (2009) as a School choir member, and then The Furchester Hotel (2014 to 2016), in which she got the role of Phoebe  Furchester-Fuzz, became her most recent known work.

Actress and puppeteer Heather Asch was born on 28 May 1966, which means she is now 57 years old. She may not be one of the most popular cast members of the show, but she has also made an appearance as Trixie. She was only featured in the first season.

Before this role, she has already had different roles, including as a voice actress and Muppets in different productions such as Allegra’s Window (1994 to 1996), Between the Lions (2000), and Sesame Street: Sesame Sings Karaoke (2003). While she has not been very busy of late, Heather has had several roles after LazyTown, such as Johnny and the Spirits (2007), A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa (2008), and Sesame Street (2007 to 2013).

Amanda Maddock is another person to have the brief role of Trixie as a puppeteer. An actress, voice actress, and puppeteer, her role in the aforementioned series is very brief, as she got just a few episodes in the first season.

Amanda is among the few cast members of the show to remain very active to date. Soon after LazyTown, she got a role in Ready for School, Sesame Street, and Elmo’s Christmas Countdown all in 2007. Her recent involvements are in Slumberkins and Kookamakaluka in 2022, Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time (2021), and then Crank Yankers from 2019 to 2021. She is also appearing in the 2023 production Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Swedish actress and voice artist Brynhildur Guðjónsdóttir is one among LazTY cast members who do not get as much credit for their roles in the series. This is understandable for her because she has only had a few episodes therein. Born on September 26, 1972, she was in LazyTown’s final episode in 2014.

The actress has not had many major roles since then. Some of her most recent works include Hversdagsreglur from 2017 to 2018, Sumarbon (2017), and Der Island-Krimi (2016).

19. Ólafur S.K. Þorvaldz (Santa Clause)

Ólafur S.K. Þorvaldz is better known as a writer, although he is also an actor and voice actor. He is credited for being the writer of the 3rd and 4th series of the children’s show. He had the role of Santa Claus in the production.

After LazyTown, Ólafur has continued with his career with his involvement in several other productions, including the 2016 film The Oath, Trapper. Another 2016 production he got involved in is Trapperd (2016), while in 2018, he was in PLOEY – You Never Fly Alone (2018).
