According to Tyson, he really liked Sol and they did a lot of things together. For the better part, the relationship seemed to go very well and Sol, who the former boxer called Shelly, helped them both to stay in shape as she was a fitness enthusiast. She also put in all the work to ensure the relationship worked because she loved Mike.

Sol soon got pregnant, but the singular issue the couple had was that Mike was broke. Because of this, Sol wanted to abort the baby but she did not and that led to the birth of their child, Miguel Leon Tyson, who was born in 2002. Three years after Miguel Tyson, Mike and Sol welcomed their second child, Exodus who was born in March 2005.

Sol Xochitl and Mike Tyson suffered the sad loss of their daughter, Exodus Tyson on May 26, 2009. Her sad passing came when she was only 4 years old. Although the relationship between her parents did not lead to marriage, it is clear that at the time of Exodus’ passing, Mike and Sol were no longer together, and Exodus was in the custody of her mother.

At the time, her older brother was 7 years old. The tragic incident shook both Sol and Tyson. However, Sol had it harder, so much so that to make things easier for her, Tyson took Miguel with him after the sad incident to give her enough time to heal and get back to her life.

Tyson and his baby mama got support from the public after Exodus’ death to cover her hospital bills and funeral expenses; and they got $200,000.

How did Mike Tyson’s daughter Exodus die?

Exodus Tyson died in late May 2009 when she got involved in a treadmill accident in the family’s home in Phoenix, Arizona, while playing on the machine.

She was found by her older brother, Maguire, with a cable around her neck. While it was not clear how she got entangled in the cable, her then-seven-year-old brother called on their mother who took Exodus off the cable and alerted authorities immediately.

The next thing Sol tried to do was administer CPR but so much damage had already been done and it was obvious she needed more than that. The little girl was immediately put on life support. The news attracted so much attention from various media outlets. This drew overwhelming love and support from Americans and the boxer released a statement of gratitude for the support and prayers while also asking for privacy while they dealt with the tragedy.

All attempts at keeping Exodus alive failed as she passed away on May 26, 2009, in Phoenix. She was pronounced dead at 11:45 a.m. Before her death, Tyson had already left Las Vegas for Phoenix where she was on life support.

Sol was next said to be involved in fitness and bodybuilding. She was said to be a fitness trainer, which is how she got her former lover to continue trying to keep fit even when he was broke.

While she continues to lead a private life, Sol’s son, Miguel, has been rather public about his path, as he is often seen attending shows and programs. More so, he reportedly has followed the boxing path of his father as he has a strong interest in becoming a boxer.
