In a bid to protect his teenage granddaughter (Nona’s character, Irene) from the bad crowd, Tirso went all out to arrest the situation.
Despite her Thai roots, Nona Sobo depicted the character of a Vietnamese girl to perfection. The plot reveals that she was the adopted child of the rich and powerful Abantos family. She was feeling out of place at a point in her life and decided to go meet her grandfather in the village called Entrevías. It was in Entrevías that the teenage girl met and fell in love with Felipe Londoño’s character, Nelson Gutierrez.
What ensued was an interesting 16 episodes of drama involving Irene, Nelson, and Tirso.
Season two of Wrong Side of the Tracks started airing in 2022, and Nona Sobo was called up to continue playing Irene. Needless to say, the youngster did a great job.
