The rumor gained some traction, and many started digging to uncover the identity of Andrew Wiggins’ best friend without much success. Meanwhile, the rumors got to the ears of the people involved, and they had no choice but to respond. In early March 2023, Mychal took to Twitter to declare that the internet was a sick place, complete with a vomit emoji. In subsequent tweets, she made it clear that the rumors were far from the truth and that it was quite sad that this was what people were conjuring up in their brains.
