Before they first crossed paths, Monica was the girlfriend of Jarvis Weems, who shot himself in the head. Romelo Montez Hill’s mum described the period as her darkest moments but a short while after, she met Rocko Hill, who was then working in real estate as a manager and was a former SWA officer. Within a few months, the couple rekindled their relationship, which led to the conception of their first child, Rodney Ramone Hill III. After they separated for good, the female singer did not waste time moving on with her life. Before the end of 2010, she began dating Shannon Brown, who she married the same year in a secret ceremony hosted in LA. Three years down the line, in 2013, they had Romelo Montez Hill’s half-sister, Laiyah Shannon, and finally divorced in March 2019.

Is Romelo in The NFL?

At age 16, it is not possible that Romelo Montez Hill would become an NFL player as the young star is still in the process of acquiring his high school qualification. However, reports reveal that he is an athlete who is really good at some track and field games, football inclusive. Thus, we are not totally writing off the possibility that he may well become an NFL professional in the future.

With that said, we must acknowledge that Romelo seems to have more interest and experience in basketball. In fact, several online sources have described him as a “young athlete maturing into a fine basketballer”. Even at his young age, Romelo displays some stellar strength and skills in the field of play that are quite commendable. The Celtics appear to be his best team as he always wears their jersey, but time will tell whether he will be drafted by the team when the time is right

The up-and-coming basketball player has done well in documenting his games via Instagram, where he is doing wonderfully well with over 118k followers. Romelo Montez may still be a teenager, but his videos and images on IG attract big names in the basketball field. A good example is Ludacris, his mum’s cousin.
