Julianna Farrait (born 1940; Age: 84) is a Puerto Rican ex-convict and former drug dealer who is famous as the wife of Frank Lucas.
Frank Lucas is the notorious drug dealer and gangster who controlled much of the heroin trade on the streets of New York and Newark in the late 60s and early 70s. When Farrait met him in 1969, he was already into the drug dealing trade but she had no idea.
She later discovered it and even though she reproached him, she never left him. She stayed married to him despite the fact that he was eventually apprehended by the authorities and sent to jail. Farrait would also dabble into the drug trade herself and was sentenced to jail on two occasions. Through it all, she and Lucas remained married until her death sometime in the late 2010s.

In May 2010, they arrested her for trying to sell heroin. Julianna had attempted to sell the illegal substance to an individual in a Puerto Rico hotel room and did not know that the buyer was a police informant.
The cops swooped down on her and arrested her. She was later charged to court and her trial lasted for more than a year. In February 2012, she was sentenced to a five-year jail term. She admitted that she was ashamed of her actions but this was not enough to stop her from being marched off to jail.
Julianna Farrait Passed Away Before Her Husband Then Died in 2019
Julianna was released from jail sometime in 2010 and also passed away the same year. Her death did not make the news unlike that of her husband who died in May 2019.
Several publications dedicated an obituary to Frank Lucas and a New York Times story on the subject had it that Julianna Farrait had already passed way before her husband died in 2019.

Julianna Farrait had only one child in her lifetime and that is Francine Lucas-Sinclair, the daughter she shares with Frank Lucas. Francine was only three years old when her parents’ legal troubles and multiple incarcerations started and this affected her. It also gave her deep sited anxiety. She, however, managed to complete schooling with top grades and studied public relations in college.
Francine’s experiences have inspired her to set up Yellow Brick Roads, a program that provides resources for children with incarcerated parents. She has become an advocate for the issue and has spoken out about her personal and family experiences on several occasions.
