Elijah’s mother is Kimberly Fey. She is a sound engineer who became famous after marrying Donnie Wahlberg. Kimberly was born in the United States on June 14, 1969, but little is known about her family, early life, and educational pursuits. Kimberly first met Donnie when the couple was in their early 20s. Their meeting was supposed to be professional after the musician hired the sound engineer to work on the New Kids on the Block for his band in the late 1980s.

Shortly after they began working together, what was supposed to be a professional meeting turned into a relationship. They, however, found a way of keeping their relationship away from the public until 1991. They would continue to date for nearly a decade before they got married in August 1999.
