Though she dabbled into acting roles at a point in her career life, Keiko’s only claim to fame is being the ex-wife of Ramesh. Her time on the acting scene was very brief with just two credits under her belt. She also worked in paid employment and recorded one art exhibition in the United States before going back to Japan following the end of her marriage.

This change in profession saw her relocate to LA in April 2009. Fujimoto is also an artist and has constantly put her artistic prowess on display. She has participated in a good number of exhibitions; in 2013, her work was displayed at the San Francisco-based SOMA Artist Studios. Artistic pieces from the likes of Jessica Allee, Kat Flynn, and David Bryand, were also on exhibition at the same studio.

Fujimoto was once married to Pakistanni-American businessman, Ramesh Balwani. There is an account of the story that claimed Keiko Fujimoto divorced her husband because of infidelity. According to the story, Ramesh was still legally married to Keiko when he met and started dating Elizabeth Holmes. To make it worse, Elizabeth was barely an adult and was decades younger than Balwani.

Another account of the story said it was Balwani’s business scandals that led Keiko Fujimoto to divorce him. According to this story, the fraud case cracked the very foundation of their union as it unfolded, especially with Elizabeth in the picture.

According to reports, after her divorce from Balwani was finalized, Keiko Fujimoto went back to her home country, Japan where she prefers to maintain a low-keyed life.
