Chanel West Coast’s Net Worth and A Further Look At Her ‘Ridiculousness’ Salary

Chanel West Coast has a net worth of $3 million according to latest reports. Most of her wealth came from her success as a TV.

The pretty blonde entertainer Chelsea Chanel Dudley, better known as Chanel West Coast, is an American television personality, rapper, singer, and songwriter most famous for her role in the popular MTV show Ridiculousness, an internet video review show which she co-hosts with fellow MTV personalities – Rob Dyrdek and Sterling “Steelo” Brim.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Chanel West Coast’s net worth is $3 million, a rather impressive figure for a TV personality who has only been in the business for a little over ten years.

One could say Chanel’s career began after she was introduced to Rob Dyrdek through a mutual friend in 2008. Shortly after the introduction, she made her first television appearance starring in Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, where she earned a small part playing a receptionist. The star was 20 years old at the time, and as they say, the rest is history.

Chanel West Coast Rose To Fame After Featuring In Ridiculousness

Following her first appearance, Chanel was cast to join the show as a regular. She held a main role in Fantasy Factory for seven seasons between 2009 and 2015 and has had an annual salary of $81,170, which was a lot on the high side considering she was relatively unknown at the time.

During her time on Fantasy Factory, the star pursued other projects with Dyrdek, co-hosting the show Ridiculousness (from 2011 till date) and lending her voice to the character of Flipz in the animated show Wild Grinders (from 2012 till 2015). Chanel West Coast has now leveraged her Ridiculousness fame to land several other gigs. She appeared in one episode of “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” in 2012, the fourth season of Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood in 2017, and one episode of Fear Factor in 2018.

She Earns $142,050 Salary Per Episode of Ridiculousness

Ridiculousness could come off as an average show, but the fact is that it is a highly successful show, proven by how much its hosts earn. According to Inquisitr, Chanel West Coast earns $142,050 per episode salary from Ridiculousness. That is a ton of money! The show has aired for no less than 20 seasons, including over 730 episodes, putting into perspective just how it is West Coast’s highest-earning gig and the major contributor to her net worth estimated at $3 million.

It is not clear, however, if she began earning $142,050 from the first episode. Her co-host Rob Dyrdek makes a lot more money than West Coast being the brain behind the show. Dyrdek once revealed to Us Magazine that when he first sold his other show, Rob and Big, to the producers, he was paid $125,000 per episode and was paid “even more” when he sold Ridiculousness to them.

From Wild Grinders, Chanel West Coast was said to have earned $174,000 per episode. The show aired for two seasons and a total of 52 episodes. The final episode aired in February of 2015. Let’s look at Coast’s other TV appearances and how much she made from them.

Her Single, Alcoholic, Remains Her Most Popular Song

Chanel West Coast has been recording music since 2009, citing Tupac Shakur as one of her biggest inspirations, and began collaborating with numerous artists. That year, she recorded the song Melting like Ice Cream, featuring Tiffanie Anderson. She later appeared in the Planet Hollywood song PHAMOUS, collaborating with Midi Mafia on the project.

West Coast was signed to Young Money Entertainment by Lil Wayne. Even though she is yet to release a solo album, she released a mixtape titled Now You Know (which has her most popular song, Alcoholic) in 2013, featuring big stars like Snoop Dogg and French Montana, from which she earned a total of $100,000.

She also appeared on the compilation album Young Money: Rise of an Empire in 2014 and earned US$68,900 with 53 million copies sold. While West Coast hasn’t made it big in the rap world, she’s still getting paid the big bucks.

Her Clothing Line and Other Businesses Contribute to Her $3 Million Net Worth

Television appearances are not all that makes up Chanel West Coast’s $3 million net worth. She has had her hand in several metaphorical pies over the years. As part of her birthday celebration and new song release fanfare, she partnered with the Daily High Club (DHC) to produce epic smoking supplies. The supply box consisted of 14mm Female CWC Bong/Rig, Custom CWC x DHC Silicone Ashtray, Juicy Jays Super Fine Sticky Candy 1, Juicy Jays Strawberry Fields Hemp Wrap, CWC x DHC Windproof Torch Lighter and LED mini-flashlight, Custom CWC x DHC Smoke Ring, The Original Cones 3-Pack King Size Cones, and DHC Sticker Set.

Chanel has also taken an interest in the fashion industry. The star started not one but two clothing lines. Valleywood, the label of her first clothing line, was launched in 2009, with the Valleywood website coming online. The line showcased the star’s style at the time; according to Nicki Swift, that style translated into t-shirts and sweatshirts that were casual but could transform into a dress-up look with the right accessories.

For instance, the star’s favorite item was a shirt that had the Los Angeles skyline with two palm trees in front of it. She explained, “I feel like it represents what the [clothing] line is. The line is very West Coast/California influenced.” However, the website went defunct in 2020 after 11 years of operation.

West Coast’s second clothing line, The LOL Cartel, was released sometime in 2021 and, as the Source reports, features a wide array of classic silhouettes such as sweatpants, sweaters, hats, shirts, t-shirts, and more in custom-dyed designs and bold color combinations, emphasizing the young and vibrant inspiration.

Endorsement Deals Also Contribute to Chanel West Coast’s Net Worth

Chanel also makes a sizeable amount of money from endorsement deals. According to Nicki Swift, with more than 3 million followers on Instagram, West Coast can make anywhere from $6,532.50 to $10,887.50 per post, per estimates from Influencer Marketing Hub. Over the last few years, the star has reportedly made over $20,000 from endorsement deals from a wide variety of companies, including Fashion Nova, 310 Nutrition, Beach Bunny Swimwear, and Candy Jewellery Company.

Chanel West Coast also devotes her time and attention to her YouTube channel when she isn’t entertaining us on our TV screens or making music. The star boasts over 300,000 subscribers, and according to The Richest, the Ridiculousness co-host made a little over $20,000 from her page in 2017 and, as of 2019, makes a little over $11,000 a year from her channel.

West Coast Calls A $1.6 Million House Home

Chanel West Coast has got deep pockets and is thus can afford the finer things of life. According to The Dirt, the pretty blonde entertainer lives in a mansion in Hollywood Dell in the east of Hollywood Hills. Though built in 1954, the property now looks modern, thanks to a recent renovation it underwent in 2018. The no less-than 2-level building sprawls across 2,600 square feet of living space. The renovations added a car garage that fits two vehicles.

Leading to the mansion’s front door are two flights of stairs that open to what is described as an open-concept living area. In true chic fashion, West Coast’s kitchen features white oak cabinetry and, of course, high-end appliances. The master bedroom, where the star retires after a hard day’s job, features a private balcony with amazing views.

The property, which sits on almost 2 acres of land space, features a fully landscaped backyard complete with a fire pit where you can righty guess Coast would be hosting mini parties. The Ridiculousness star dropped $1.65 million for the house in late 2019 and had a custom pool and fire pit put in the backyard.
