She Became Art Bell’s Wife in 2006

Airyn Ruiz Bell eventually became Mrs. Bells number four on the 11th of April 2006. Their wedding ceremony, which took place in the Philippines, was a private affair that occurred in the Philippines. The Couple’s Marriage was Considered to be Successful While It Lasted

The controversies that besieged Airyn Ruiz Bell’s marriage notwithstanding, the couple went ahead to spend over a decade of marital bliss. After Airyn was denied a visa to the US, the couple briefly lived back home in the Philippines until they were able to move to the United States together.

While in the Philippines, Art was not idle as the broadcaster kept busy in Manila hosting a radio show. He wasted no time in resigning once his wife gave birth to their first child. Art’s reasons were that he needed more time to spend with his family.

According to the celebrated radio personality, he found solace in Airyn’s arms in his darkest moment. When he landed in the hospital as a result of chronic lung disease attributed to smoking, Art said Airyn never left his side for a minute, even when he was in very bad shape, weak, and couldn’t even dress.

Art took to his website to publicly thanked Airyn for helping him day and night. He narrated how he went through every single test known to man; X-Rays, MRI, PET scans, more blood tests, and they even punched a hole in his lungs. The broadcaster also narrated how they kept him on Morphine throughout his stay in the hospital, and Airyn was right there to support him.

Far from being the first wife married to Art Bell, Airyn Ruiz Bell was actually the radio broadcaster’s wife number four. Art has been through three marriages before meeting his last wife.

He first tied the knot with Sachiko Toguchi Bell Pontius in 1965, but their union lasted for barely three years, and they ended things in 1968. The broadcaster’s second marriage with wife number two, Vickie L. Baker, lasted for one whole decade from the 1st of March 1981 till 1991.

He married his third wife, Ramona Lee Hayes, a few months after divorcing Vickie. Their marriage lasted until Ramona lost the battle with Asthma.

The Couple’s Marriage was Besieged by a Lot of Controversies

Getting married to Airyn Ruiz Bell a few months after he lost his third wife put Art Bell in the spotlight, as both fans and the general public perceived it as weird.

The shock had not gone down when it came to the fore that Art’s new wife was barely out of her teenage years and a university student. Airyn, who was 22 at the time of their wedding, was all of 40 years younger than her husband.

While many later overlooked the couple’s massive age difference, conservative radio host, conspiracy theorist, and author Michael Savage didn’t. He had no qualms about defaming Airyn by calling her a “10-year-old h**ker”; he did this during his broadcast on the radio.
