The Real Housewives of Cape Town (RHOCT) is a South African docu-reality television series that premiered on Mzansi Magic on July 10, 2022. The show primarily focuses on the affluent personal and professional lives of moneyed women residing in Mother City.
RHOCT is preceded by the Real Housewives of Joburg and the Real Housewives of Durban. Distributed internationally by NBC Universal Formats and produced locally by Trace Studios, the show stopped running on the Mzansi Magic channel on October 9, 2022. RHOCT pulled in moderately favorable reviews and also kept viewers hooked to the screens while it lasted.

The cast members of the Real Housewives of Cape Town consist of 7 prominent women residing in Cape Town. Their names are Beverley Steyn, Camilla McDowell, Kutazwa ‘Rooksy’ Gqirana, Loveline Abinokhauno, aka Mrs. Leo, Lulwando ‘Lue’ Tukwayo, Rushda Moosajee, and Thanto Montse.
The RHOCT cast is an ensemble of well-heeled women who place great importance on social status, wealth, and material goods. RHOCT star Beverley Steyn was born and raised in the KwaZulu-Natal province. She relocated to Cape Town in the year 2018 and has been on top of her game in every aspect of her life.
Unfortunately, elaborate information about her background, age details, and family life is not public knowledge. However, we can establish that she is a property owner and investor with interests in residential property, warehouse, and commercial.
Beverley describes herself as highly disciplined, passionate, and creative. She is the epitome of class and loves the luxury lifestyle, exotic cars, yachts, and planes. She was instrumental in the success of the reality TV series.

2. Camilla McDowell

The reality star is also a humanitarian, a flower fanatic, and an antique expert. Opulence and luxury seep through her veins in every sense. Not much is known about her family and background.
Camilla is a mother of three. She shares two teen kids – Maximilian (15) and Rosalie (17) with her husband, as well as a son named Michael (above 30) from a previous relationship.

The reality TV star is a mother of four and the daughter of New Brighton residents Thembsie and Joe. Roosky describes herself as family-oriented and adventurous. The show did not affect her marriage, and she was one of the most vocal women on the RHOCT.
4. Loveline Abinokhauno, aka Mrs. Leo

Originally from North West, she has been living in Cape Town for years. The reality TV star owns a concierge and events company called La Prive Concierge & Events.
She easily connects with women across the world. Mrs. Leo has formerly worked as a social media manager, customer, personal assistant, and recruitment consultant.
5. Lulwando ‘Lue’ Tukwayo

6. Rushda Moosajee

RushTush, as she is professionally and fondly called, is a qualified trainer with a massive following on social media. The mother of four is naturally ambitious and reserved. She was one of the most fascinating women on the show.
She received the support of her husband before and during the show. The two are still going strong together. Interestingly, she found that she was pregnant with her fourth child on the show. She had the baby, Nuh Ebrahim, in the month of August 2022.
7. Thato Montse

Thato was the life of the party on RHOCT. She is the founder and CEO of the wine brand Thato Wines. This beautiful mompreneur holds a diploma in Brand Communication from Vega School.
Thato has a postgraduate qualification in Design and a certificate in Garagist Wine Making from the University of Stellenbosch. She did Wine Making at the Cape Wine Academy for Wine Making and is looking forward to hosting a lifestyle series called “Wine with Thato.”
Mrs. Montse is a member of BLACC – the Black Cellar Club.
