Khanyo is an emotional wreck at the funeral and cannot put herself together before the congregation, especially when she “sees” Thokozile’s body roll out of the coffin.

Wednesday 3, November 2021: Episode 928

Nkululeko rushes Fikile to the hospital from the funeral as she faints from extensive bleeding. Could this be a sign from the ancestors regarding their relationship?

Thursday 4, November 2021: Episode 929

In a traditional ceremony, Khanyo fights her fears to abolish Thokozile’s spirit while at the Bhengu house, Nompi’s lies are seen as a money-making scheme by maZulu.

Friday 5, November 2021: Episode 930

Buhle makes significant changes at Emsamo, and Lindo finds working at the company difficult following his demotion. Thu Sheleni is announced as the new manager.

Wednesday 17, November 2021: Episode 938

Traditional healers gather at the church to try and restore Khanyo’s sight. The police also arrive to get her confession regarding Thokozile’s death.

Thursday 18, November 2021: Episode 939

Nompi learns that Nkululeko has taken a DNA sample from Fikile.

Friday 19, November 2021: Episode 940

The truth about Nkululeko and Fikile being siblings is out, and she is devasted by the news. Phakade reveals that he would not carry on with Khanyo’s wishes.

Fikile locks herself in the bedroom and starts a fire. Zakithi is worked up as she is unable to open the door.

Love chemistry burns between Nkululeko and Makhosazana as they celebrate the Marino deal, but he is not interested in ‘office romance.’

Imbewu: The Seed Premiered in 2018

Imbewu officially the screens on 16 April 2018. The show’s creator is Duma Ndlovu, while the executive producers are Anant Singh and LeletiKhumalo. The show is produced by Grapevine Productions as an e.tv original production and is equally commissioned and distributed by e.tv. One can see fresh episodes of the soapie on e.tv from Mondays to Fridays at 9.30 pm, and eExtra from Mondays to Fridays at 10.15 am—the repeat episodes air on e.tv from Mondays to Fridays at 12.30 pm.

Who Is New On The TV Show?

Nkosinathi Maphalala

There have been changes in the cast of Imbewu in the course of the year. While no actor has left the show, new ones have been added to the cast. Nkosinathi Maphalala (Nay Maps) joined the show in August this year and plays the role of Zenzele Maphumulo in the show. Maphalala replaced Mlungisi Shabala, who initially played Zenzele.

Selby Mkhize

Another addition was made to the cast in September 2021 when Selby “Selbeyonce” Mkhize came on board. Mkhize portrays the character of Lulu Mtshali. It is believed that his addition to the cast was to provide an environment of inclusivity in the show, considering that he had come out to embrace his sexuality as a gay man.
