Zarinah Tlale Hassan is currently 43 years old as she was born on the 23rd of September, in a village called Jinja in Uganda. She is the daughter of Halima Hassan (mother) and Nasur Hassan (father).

Her mother passed away in 2017 as a result of heart failure. Her death dealt a big blow to her family, especially Zari who was very close to her. Ivan passed away on 25th May 2017 in Pretoria, South Africa from a heart attack at the age of 39.
