Amanda Dandala (born April 27, 1992) is a 31 year-old South African talent & operations manager instantly recognizable to the general public as the younger sister of Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, aka Black Coffee, the South African DJ, record producer, and songwriter.

Amanda Dandala was born in Umalzi, a rural area in KwaZulu-Natal province on the 27th of April 2022. She was raised in the township as well alongside her siblings. It’s unclear the exact number of siblings she has but one of them is South African DJ, record producer, and songwriter, Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, professionally known as Black Coffee.
Black Coffee’s sister attended Ridge Park College, one of Durban’s top girls’ high schools. She earned her National Senior Certificate in 2009. In addition to serving as the softball captain and hockey vice-captain for her school, she was also a member of the provincial softball team.
Amanda enrolled at Rhodes University in 2010 to study accounting. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting. During her time in college, she belonged to the Black Management Forum (BMF) and the African Woman Chartered Accountants (AWCA).
During 2016 and 2017, Amanda studied for a postgraduate diploma in accounting (PGDA) at the University of South Africa. English, Zulu, and Xhosa are all three languages that Black Coffee’s sister is fluent in.

Amanda Dandala is Black Coffee’s younger sister. She is 16 years younger than the Grammy-winning musician, who was born on March 11th, 1976. The two siblings are extremely close and devoted to one another.
Dandala was among those who vociferously backed her brother during his contentious public spat with his ex-wife, actress, and television host Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa. During Amanda’s 30th birthday party, Black Coffee was among those who went all out to make sure it was a magnificent occasion.

Amanda Dandala is currently employed at Soulistic Agency, the talent management company run by her brother, as a talent agent. Since joining the agency in 2017, she has collaborated with a wide range of artists.
She previously worked at the Brooklyn, Pretoria-based firm PSMA Holdings (Pty) as a Forensic Investigator, from 2014- 2019 precisely.
