Who are Shawn Bradley’s Children and What Led To His Divorce?

Shawn Bradley has six kids with his ex-wife, Annette Evertson. Nicknamed the Stormin’ Mormon, the former Philadelphia 76ers center had four daughters – Chelsea, Charity, Cheyenne, and Ciara – and two sons – Chase and Chance – during his over 2-decade marriage to Evertson.

Bradley is also the adoptive father of Haylie, Dubbie, and Max, his current wife, Carrie Cannon’s three children from a previous marriage. The former athlete shocked the world when he decided to end his marriage to Annette Evertson, a woman he once claimed he couldn’t live without, in 2017. However, the reason behind this highly surprising turn of events has yet to be made public. Here’s what we know about the former New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks center’s family life.

Meet Shawn Bradley’s Children With His Ex-wife Annette Evertson

Born Shawn Paul Bradley on March 22, 1972, in Landstuhl, Germany, to Reiner and Teresa Bradley, the 52-year-old former pro basketball player spent almost a quarter of a century being married to Annette Evertson-Bradley.

They met for the first time at a Philadelphia Mormon Church where Annette was a guest speaker. On that fateful day, she had spoken about her missionary work in South Florida, and Bradley was one of those in attendance who had listened rapturously.

For the then-Philadelphia 76ers center, it was love at first sight, and he did not hesitate to indicate his interest in having a relationship with her.

She agreed to his request, and just two months into the relationship, Shawn was ready to take things to the next level of marriage. To many, their decision to get married seemed hurried, but the over two decades they spent as a married couple justified that decision.

Annette Evertson-Bradley was Shawn Bradley’s wife for the duration of the dozen years of his professional NBA career, and she was credited by the former player with helping him get through some of the toughest moments in that career.

Having grown up in a relatively big household that included three siblings and two parents, Shawn Bradley knows a thing or two about a large family, but even he wouldn’t have guessed how big his own family would be. The former couple has six children together.

Aside from being his most trusted companion during those grueling topsy-turvy years, Annette Evertson was also a caring and capable mother to their four daughters, Charity, Chelsea, Ciara, and Cheyenne, and two sons, Chase and Chance. Those kids are grown now, and here’s what we know about them.

Charity Bradley is a Volleyball Player

Charity Bradley was born on September 23, 1998, in Plano, Texas, United States. Her birth sign is Libra, and she belongs to the white Caucasian ethnic group. She is currently 25 years old. Given that she was born in the United States and also the fact that her mother is American, Charity Bradley primarily identifies as an American citizen. She is, however, quite in tune with her German ancestry courtesy of her father.

Details of Charity Bradley’s formal educational background include the well-documented fact that she began her high school education at Waterford High School – a 2A private school in Sandy. When her family moved to St. George, the celebrity child spent her high school senior year at Desert Hills High School.

After high school, the celebrity child enrolled at Washington State University before transferring to the University of Portland in 2021. Charity Bradley is another proof of the saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. The 25-year-old, like her father, is actively involved in sports.

At 6 feet 4 inches tall, one could easily be forgiven for assuming that she has followed in the footsteps of her father to play basketball. On the contrary, Charity Bradley, who played soccer, basketball, and volleyball earlier on in her life, has primarily focused on volleyball since her high school years.

She is also quite good at what she does, as evidenced by her individual records as a part of the Cougars of Washington State (2017 – 2020) and the Pilots of the University of Portland (2021). Charity Bradley keeps a low profile when it comes to matters of her personal life, and the result of that is that we have yet to figure out whether she is in a romantic relationship or not.

Shawn Bradley Has 5 More Children From His First Wife, Annette Bradley

While Charity Bradley is undoubtedly the more famous of the Bradley children, she is by no means the only daughter of the retired pro basketball player. Shawn Bradley and his ex-wife Annette welcomed three more daughters named Chelsea, Ciara, and Cheyenne.

Not much is known about those three, however, including when they were born, their formal educational background, what they currently do for a living, and what their personal lives are like at the moment.

Shawn Bradley and Annette Evertson allegedly ended their marriage of almost 25 years in 2017. Shawn has since remarried and took his two sons, Chase and Chance to live with him and his new family.

Other than the few pictures of the boys on the internet and the fact that they live with their father at the moment, the media and the public have been left oblivious of what Shawn Bradley’s sons from his first marriage are up to at the moment.

Shawn Bradley Adopted His Current Wife’s Children

Following his divorce from Annette Evertson-Bradley nee Tanner, Shawn Bradley found love again in the arms of Carrie Cannon. We have yet to uncover how, when, or where they met, but we can confirm that they exchanged marital vows in 2018. Before her marriage to the 7 feet 6 inches retired Dallas Mavericks center, Carrie Cannon was also married.

Her marriage to her as-yet-unidentified ex-husband produced three children, namely Haylie, Dubbie, and Max. Certain sources claim that part of her divorce settlement includes the fact that her children’s biological father relinquish his parental rights. When she married Shawn Bradley, he was only too happy to adopt her kids.

Despite being incorporated into the Bradley family, Haylie, Dubbie, and Max, Shawn Bradley’s adopted children, have chosen to continue their lives away from the media and the public. This development has also meant that pertinent details of their lives, including when or where they were born, their formal educational background, and what they do for a living, have been kept a secret from the media and the public.

Judging from Shawn’s 2021 interview with TMZ Sports, his adopted children are still teenagers who are most likely still in high school. They make their home with the former pro-baller, their mother, and two stepbrothers, Chase and Chance, in St. George, Utah.
