Shiho Yoshimura (born December 13, 1989; Age: 32 years old) is a retired professional Japanese volleyball player who was famous as a player not only for her great skills in the volleyball court but also for her body physique.
The athlete was born in Isehara City, Kanagawa, Japan, and though her parents are not known, Shiho was influenced by her elder sister into playing volleyball. She had a short but successful career in volleyball and during her time, she was one of the most beautiful players on the court. Thus, some people doubted that she is Japanese because of her physique.

Shiho Yoshimura Was Born And Raised In Japan
Shiho Yoshimura was born on December 13, 1989, in Isehara City Kanagawa Prefecture. Her parents are not known to the public, but they are believed to be Japanese, as such, she is of Asian ethnicity.
Young Shiho started playing volleyball in Grade 3 at a local primary school and it is widely reported that her elder sister influenced and groomed her in the game. The young star also participated in her school’s creative writing, dance, and drama clubs.
However, of all the skills she picked in primary school, the only one she decided to go forward with was volleyball. It is also her claim to fame and the reason she became a person of public interest.

Her Love For Volleyball Continued In High School And College
The love for volleyball that was instilled in Shiho in primary school did not die after she left the local primary school. After her basic school, she got accepted into Kawasaki Tachibana High School, Kanagawa. In 2007, she represented her school in the All Japan Inter High School Competitions (SAGA 2007).
After high school, she proceeded to Tokai University in 2008. There, Shiho joined Akari Omi and Kaname Yamaguchi as first-year quartet ace spikers where they came second place in the second league the same year. And in 2012, Shiho graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
In 2011, She Served As Universiade Representative
After University, Shiho continued her career in volleyball and things were going quite well for her. Even before her bachelor’s degree, she was elected as the 26th Universiade representative in July 2011.
That same year, she became the motivation behind the victory at the All Japan Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship in December. There, she came out with the Best Scorer Award and after the game, Shiho Yoshimura was admitted as a member of the V Challenge League Ageo Medics.
In the 2012/13 V Challenge, she displayed her great talents again, making tremendous contributions to the success of her team’s second victory. In addition to the victory, she was awarded the Best New Face Award.
Then, in 2013 Yoshimura became a representative in the Summer Universiade. And in 2014 V, she won the final league and was awarded the “daring player of the tournament”.

Sadly, in June 2016 the talented Shiho retired from professional volleyball after a short time with Ageo Medics. Though she had a short career, she made a significant impact. Before her career ended, in the 2014/2015 season, she featured in 10 matches and scored 117 points. Then in the 2015/16 season, she played 18 matches and added 148 points to her team. Yoshimura was one of the best players of her time.
