The 25th of October 2015 was a black day for the Reynolds as they lost their dad who was then 74 to the cold hands of death. However, being the brave man he was known to be, he concealed his health condition from his wife and children.
According to the Deadpool movie star, his dad hails from a prideful generation that believes that a man should never show emotions no matter the circumstances. Throughout his battle with Parkinson, Ryan Reynolds’ dad just made reference to it a couple of times and preferred to live in denial to the very end.
Even though James preferred to maintain silence about his state of health, it did not stop the rest of the family from rallying around the septuagenarian. When a cure was not forthcoming, James gave up the ghost after 20 years of battling the disease.
