He was arrested by the US Customs and Border Protection officers at the San Ysidro border in March 2017.

According to multiple reports, Emiliano had attempted to cross the US-Mexican border with four undocumented, illegal Chinese nationals in South San Diego. Furthermore, the illegal immigrants had allegedly been asked to pay Emiliano vast sums of money each, with the amount per person said to range between $3K and $60K. If they successfully entered the US, they would have paid this amount.

When Emiliano was arrested, the information provided to the court stated that he was driving a Chrysler 200 sedan and had been carrying an unknown female passenger in the passenger seat. Unluckily for the celebrity kid, he was asked to open the car’s trunk, where the Chinese nationals were hidden. When they approached the border, they were subjected to the routine evaluation customarily carried out at such checkpoints.
