Ashley Kaufmann (born 12th June 1995) is a 28-year-old American upcoming pop singer best known as Lindsay Lohan’s half-sister.

Ashley Kaufmann’s biological parents were never married but had an affair back in the 90s. At that time, her mom, Kristi, was going through a divorce while her biological dad, Michael Lohan, was temporarily separated from his first wife named Dina. They reportedly had an affair that lasted throughout 1994, meeting up in places such as Houston and New York. Michael Lohan has stated that this affair stopped once he reconciled with his wife in 1995. However, Ashley’s mom disputes this.

She maintains that their affair continued for some time after Michael Lohan had reconciled with his wife, Dina. Whatever was the truth, Kristi later got pregnant with Ashley and decided to go ahead and have the baby. Ashley Kaufmann spent the first ten years of her life living with her mom and her second husband, Daryl Kaufmann. She had a regular childhood and attended school just like most kids her age. The young lady appeared on the cover of InTouch Magazine in September 2013, noticeably looking like her famous half-sister – Lindsay Lohan, and revealed that she spent about $25,000 on plastic surgery to look like her sister.

According to Ashley, she underwent a nose job, a rhinoplasty, and a bit of refinement under her cheeks and jawline. She further had some fat injected into her chin and upper cheeks. All this she did in a bid to look like Lindsay during her hay days. The InTouch magazine stuff was undoubtedly a bizarre interview, but Ashley was not yet done. She claimed that she was hotter than Lindsay. She also claimed that she was a more responsible person than the actress as she doesn’t have a penchant for partying, drinking, or doing drugs.

The interview stirred much controversy, with some tabloids describing Ashley as fame-hungry. Since that plastic surgery debacle, Ashley Kaufmann has dropped out of the spotlight. She maintains no active social media accounts except for her Twitter account, where she last posted in 2012. The young lady was prepared for a wild ride after her paternity was revealed, but she must have learned a bitter lesson from the invasive media coverage that greeted the whole thing.
