Being a man who knew how to get what he wanted, Thembinkosi did not give up, and finally, his persistence and consistency paid off as she finally gave in. After dating for some time, they finally tied the knot in 2004.

Nhlanhla Nciza is also a music artist. She is the other piece of the South African award-winning music duo Mafikizolo, where she functions as the lead singer. Although we don’t have details about how Thembinkosi met his wife, it is possible that it happened around the time he dabbled into music.
She came into the limelight in 1997 as a part of the Afro-pop music group. He Lost His Daughter in an Accident
As mentioned before, Thembinkosi and Nhlanhla had four children – three sons and a daughter. But unfortunately, they lost their daughter. Their daughter, named Zinathi Nciza, died in a ghastly motor accident at the age of five.
On the 7th of December 2009, the unfortunate incident occurred when Zinathi joined her grandmother, Nomafu Nciza, to pick her cousin up from school. Nomafu, who was driving, lost control and hit a tree. While Nomafu Nciza sustained some leg and chest injuries, Zinathi sustained major head and neck injuries, leading to her death.
Losing a daughter was a harrowing experience for their family. Thembinkosi’s mother, Nomafu, could not help but blame herself for the death of her granddaughter. Thembinkosi’s wife, Nhlanhla Nciza, on the other hand, was devastated and has since revealed that she did not know she would be able to scale through dealing with the death of her daughter.
However, Nhlanhla overcame the sad situation when she had her last child Luvuyo. Although he was not a girl, having another child did so much to pacify her. She said he brought peace and light to her heart. Nhlanhla has also tried to console Thembinkosi’s mother and encouraged her to stop blaming herself because nobody blames her for the death of their daughter.
Thembinkosi Nciza Was Nhlanhla Nciza’s Husband For Only 15 Years
While the union between Thembinkosi and Nhlanhla lasted, it seemed like a perfect match-up. They had stayed together for more than 10 decades, making it difficult for anybody to see the divorce coming. However, it did come. After 15 years of a blissful marriage, things came crashing for the couple.
On the 20th of June 2019, Nhlanhla broke the news of their divorce to the public. In her caption, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the beautiful years they had spent together. She also thanked those who supported them through the years. She went on to say that the divorce was amicable and that they have decided to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their children.
There Were Reports That Thembinkosi Nciza Was Cheating On His Wife
Although Nhlanhla Nciza announced that her divorce from Thembinkosi was amicable, she did not give the reason for the split. And in no time, rumors started spreading about Thembinkosi being unfaithful to his wife. The name of the lady he cheated with was identified as Lebo Pasha.
Social media users soon identified the lady, and her pictures were everywhere. It was so bad that she deleted her Instagram account. There are reports that Thembinkosi had been cheating for up to four years, and his wife was aware of it but was willing to save her marriage. After trying so hard, she gave up the effort and decided to give Thembinkosi the space he required, hence their divorce.
