Liteboho Molise is a 36-year-old actress and voice-over artist born on January 23rd, 1988. She is famously known for her role as Seipati in Lingashoni and Teboho in Muvhango.

For almost nine years, Liteboho portrayed the character of Teboho in Muvhango and eventually left the show for the lead role of Seipati in Lingashoni in March 2021. Though her career began in 2012, she is quickly becoming a household name on Mzansi TV. Former Muvhango actress Liteboho Molise attended Sophia Primary School and Mohale’s Hoek High School, both situated in Butha-Buthe. She lived with her aunt throughout her schooling years. In 2007, she enrolled at the National University of Lesotho and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration in the year 2011.

After completing her degree, Liteboho Molise wanted to pursue a post-graduate study in Drama and Theatre. She was busy trying to enroll in different tertiary institutions when she heard the news about Muvhango casting in Lesotho. She grabbed the opportunity, and the rest is history.

Liteboho Molise’s Breakout Role as Teboho

Though not having formal training in acting, Liteboho Molise’s passion for drama made her audition for a role in Muvhango. Surprisingly, the show’s producers were impressed with her performance, and she was offered the role of Teboho Mukwevho. She said she was able to nail her audition as she didn’t know how big the show was at the time.

She debuted in the soapie in May 2012 as a rural girl from Lesotho who is a domestic worker. Eventually, she was promoted from playing a supporting role to a starring role as the Mayor’s wife and a businesswoman. For almost nine years, Molise was featured in Muvhango. Her character was transformed at every stage that she ended up playing a villainous role that viewers love to hate.

With her eyes set on the chieftaincy, Teboho stepped on people’s toes just to achieve her dreams. She tried hard as a Sotho woman to be accepted into the Venda family she was married into. Later on in the SABC2 drama series, Liteboho Molise’s character was jailed for murder and attempted murder.

For her outstanding performance in Muvhango, the actress was nominated for two Royalty Soapie Awards for Best Newcomer and Viewers’ Choice: Best Actress in 2014 and 2021, respectively.

Playing Seipati in Lingashoni Has Made Liteboho Molise More Famous

In March 2021, Liteboho Molise ditched her much-loved character in Muvhango for a main role in the then-new 1Magic telenovela, Lingashoni. She portrays a much nicer character in the series than in Muvhango. Lingashoni premiered on March 22nd, 2021, and Molise made her debut as Seipati Moeketsi, a farmworker with two sons with whom she shares a very close, supportive relationship.

After Seipati rescued Mandla Cele (Patrick Mofokeng) from the water and helped him recover from a gunshot wound, the two fell in love and got married. Years into the marriage, the man regained his memory and realized he was a wealthy married man and then needs to go back and reclaim his position. Hence, Seipati became his second wife and has been engaged in a serious fight for Mandla’s heart with her co-wife, Puleng (Thuli Thabethe).

Since joining the cast of Lingashoni as a main character, Liteboho Molise has built a huge fanbase in the country and is widely known as Seipati from Lingashoni.

Who is Liteboho Molise’s Husband?

Liteboho Molise got separated from her husband, Thabo Twala, in 2018 and is uncertain whether she has remarried. She tied the knot with the Mpumalanga businessman in 2015 when he paid her lobola, and they married in a community of property. However, in the following year, the voice-over artist discovered on social media that she was her husband’s third wife.

As Twala showed off the expensive car he had bought for his wife on social media, people started asking Molise about her husband’s first two wives and if she was a homewrecker. She defended her marriage, saying that the two women were no longer in Thabo Twala’s life when she started dating him, and he had broken up with them when they met.

The two women, however, took to social media to rubbish Liteboho Molise’s claims and insisted that they were still married to the construction tycoon and were happy with the polygamous marriage. Molise then had the shock of her life when her husband confirmed publicly that he was a polygamist and was married to Kate, Mpho, and Liteboho Molise.

It was hard for the 36-year-old to come to grips with the fact that she had been in a polygamous marriage without knowing. Consequently, she reportedly called it quits with her husband in 2018 and moved out from her matrimonial home in Gauteng‘s most expensive suburb of Sandhurst in Sandton.

How Many Children Does Liteboho Molise Have?

Liteboho Molise shares one child with her estranged husband, Thabo Twala. She gave birth to her daughter in 2016 and hardly posts her pictures on social media. She presently lives with her child in Midstream Estate, northeast of Johannesburg. Speaking about motherhood, Liteboho said that her journey as a mother has taught her patience, and she loves the experience.
