Melinda Bam won the coveted title of Miss South Africa in 2011. This happened during the gala event which took place at Sun City on the 11th of December 2011. The beauty queen who stands at a height of 1.7 meters was born in the City of Pretoria. Previously, she also held the titles of Miss Me’ Waterkloof, Miss Tropika, and also Miss Candy Girl. 2. Jo-Ann Strauss
Jo-Ann Strauss is a household name in South Africa when it comes to beauty pageants. She is regarded as one of the best beauty queens to ever come out of the region. She was crowned Miss South Africa in 2000. Apart from her stunning beauty and self-confidence, she is also known to be a very talented media personality. Jo-Ann has been a presenter at a number of stations. Currently, she is the host of a television show in the South African station Etv known as Glambition.
3. Marylyn Ramos
Marylyn Ramos aged 22 years was born on the 16th of February 1991 in Klerksdorp, South Africa. The 1.74 meter (5.85 feet) tall beauty queen was crowned Miss South Africa on 9th December 2012. Apart from winning the title of Miss South Africa, she also represented the country in Miss Universe beauty pageant held in 2013, and also Miss World beauty pageant also held in the same year.
4. Claudia Henkel
Claudia Henkel held the title of Miss South Africa in 2004. She was born in Gauteng province in South Africa on the 22nd day of April 1983. The 30-year-old beauty queen also represented the country in the Miss World beauty pageant held in Thailand and was placed among the top 15. The 6-foot blonde beauty is also studying Interior Architecture at the Inscape Design College in Pretoria. Although she won the title in 2004, she still looks as dazzling as ever.
5. Bokang Montjane
Bokang Montjane was born in 1986 in the village of Gampahlele in the region of Limpopo. She was crowned Miss South Africa in 2010. Later on, she represented South Africa in the Miss World beauty pageant as well as Miss Universe beauty pageant in 2011. Previously, she had also taken part in Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2007, where she was among the top 16 finalists. She was also placed among the top 7 during Miss World Africa. She also took part in Miss International beauty pageant held in 2009. Besides her startling looks, she is also one of the few women to have ever competed in all the four major beauty pageants in the world.
6. Nicole Flint
Nicole Flint was the Miss South Africa title holder in 2009. The 1.72 meter (5.75 feet) tall beauty queen was born on the 15th of May in 1988. She also represented her country in the Miss World 2010 pageant where she was placed among the top 25. In the Miss Universe beauty pageant, she finished among the top 10 beauties in a gala held in the City of Las Vegas in Nevada. Other than modelling and participating in pageants, the 25-year-old is also an established television and radio presenter as well as being a public relations expert.
7. Tatum Keshwar
Tatum Keshwar is a 29-year-old beauty queen of Indian Origin. She was born in 14th December in 1983 in Durban, South Africa. The stunning beauty towering at a height of 6feet 1 inch ( 1.85meters) was crowned Miss South Africa in 2008. In 2009, she represented the country in Miss Universe where she managed a top 7 finish. Megan Coleman holds the title for Miss South Africa 2006. She was born in 28th May 1985 in Hillcrest, South Africa. After her achievement, the 28-year-old represented the country at the Miss World beauty pageant held in China. She also represented South Africa in the Miss Universe event in Mexico in 2007. The eye-catching beauty holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Media, Marketing and Communications. She also manages Image Insured which is an image consulting firm in Hillcrest.

Tansey Coetzee was born on the 8th of October 1984 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 1.74 meter (5ft, 9 inches) beauty queen was Miss South Africa in 2007. The 29-year-old later represented the country at the Miss World pageant held in 2008 where she managed to be among the top 5. She also participated in the Miss Universe beauty pageant held in Nha Trang in Vietnam in2008. She was among the top 15 finalists.
10. Nokuthula Sithole
Nokuthula Sithole was crowned Miss South Africa in 2005. She was born on 1st January 1984. After winning the title, she also represented the country in Miss Universe, an event held in Los Angeles in the same year. The 29-year-old represented South Africa at the Miss World 2005 event.
