How Old is Kgomotso Ndungane?

Kgomotso Ndungane was born on September 23 in South Africa. Her parents’ names, the name of her hometown, and the year she was born are all kept private. She has kept her family members’ identities, as well as who her parents are, a secret from the general public.

Kgomotso once said in an interview that she comes from a family where her great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents built wealth for them over several generations. She added that she has been inspiring her own children and instilling the same value in them, particularly the necessity for families to continue building, hustling, and not living for today.

For her primary and secondary education, she went to schools in her hometown. After that, she earned a B.com degree in information technology from the University of Pretoria.

Kgomotso began her work in 2005 as an IT and business analyst. She served as a junior consultant before transitioning to a senior freelancing position in the Oracle E-business Suite implementation. She founded her own IT company two years later, precisely in 2007, which she ran till 2011.

In 2012, Kgomotso moved to AdaptIT, a JSE-listed company, where she served over 10,000 global clients in the IT industry while also providing IT business solutions. She launched Oak Celebrations after working at AdaptIT for three years, specifically in 2015.

Kgomotso Ndungane is a Businesswoman

As a businesswoman, Kgomotso Ndungane presently runs two successful companies. The first one is Oak Celebrations, a three-tiered events business with a flower shop, events equipment rental, and event creation services. She started the business in 2015, and it now has clients all around the country.

Kgomotso joined RHOD in part to advertise her company, which has its headquarters in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Kgomotso has been able to research international design trends through her company thanks to her ancestry and extensive design knowledge.

LeLaPa is Kgomotso’s second company. After Oak Celebrations experienced a brief setback during the initial shutdown, the company was founded. Her goods are wrapped in tasteful butter, oils, and stunning organic aromatherapy oils and come in attractive, straightforward packaging. Whether it’s for clients or their loved ones, they make fantastic gifts.

Her late grandmother was the inspiration for the Tswana name LeLaPa, which means “Family.” She created LeLapa as a way to celebrate the memories of and show her affection for her grandparents.

Despite being married to a wealthy man and coming from a wealthy family, Kgomotso is successful in her own right. As a result, a large portion of the wealth she flaunted on the reality TV series RHOD may also be attributed to her successful enterprises.

She is an influential figure in the industry. She was nominated in 2014 for the Business Women Association South Africa (BWASA) regional awards in the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year category.

She Appeared on RHOD and Left After One Season

Kgomotso first rose to fame after marrying her famous athletic husband. But as she joined the Real Housewives of Durban cast, her following exploded. She agreed to be a part of the show after being approached by the team, who thought she was a good fit for it and someone who would provide value, be dependable, and be dedicated to it.

Kgotmoso Ndungane claims that she primarily joined RHOD with the goal of showing her commercial acumen for product creation and services. But she left the program after one season because, as she would later admit, she didn’t feel she made a meaningful contribution to society through the program.

Nevertheless, Kgotmoso came away from the event with something, as she made Anne-Toni Mthembu a close friend and business partner. She also acknowledged that she found the experience of filming the show to be a very personal journey of self-discovery filled with lots of learning, interaction with the women, learning about their backgrounds, motivations, and challenges, and most importantly, witnessing their tenacity in building their respective businesses and ideologies.

She also learned through the show that they all shared a desire to be unabashedly successful businesswomen despite having children, unhappy marriages, social pressures, media, and other obligations.

Ndungane effortlessly won the hearts of the audience thanks to her confidence, respect for her spouse and family, and business-minded attitude. She also got along well with the other cast members during her brief appearance on the show.

She made some opponents who continually tromped her online for showing off her “mean side,” as was to be expected. She was harassed to the point where she had to lock her Instagram comment section and quit updating her company pages.

Kgomotso Ngudane acknowledged that the incident had a negative impact on her but that with the support of her husband, father, and friends, she was able to recover. She has decided not to participate in any other reality shows going ahead; at most, she would be choosy.
