Theledi received her elementary and high school education in Mpumalanga. She started living in the boarding school at the age of five and was part of her school’s drama group as a high school student.
Growing up, she was also a sporty person. She was part of the South African netball team, and she barely had time to get herself involved in other things, including listening to the radio.
