Ukhozi FM has unveiled a new line-up for 2017 and 2018 as breakfast host, Zama Ngcobo leaves the radio station.
Zama bid farewell to her listeners during her last show on Tuesday.
Shortly after her departure from the station, Zama revealed a move into TV on the show Sikulento.
Her time at Ukhozi FM had been bedeviled by controversies. She had several awkward on-air moments and even had a Facebook campaign – “We hate you Zama Ngcobo”, launched to remove her.
Nevertheless, if her recent tweet is anything to go by, she seems to be doing just fine after leaving the station.

Meanwhile, a slew of Metro FM presenters has resigned from the station. Some of the radio hosts who bid farewell to their listeners recently include; Glen Lewis, Unathi Msengana and Bonang Matheba whose departure caused quite a ruckus.
Bonang’s resignation, follows the annual reshuffle of presenters at the station. She reportedly handed in her resignation following the outcome of the reshuffling.
Apparently, Queen B was dissatisfied with the station’s decision to pair her with Lerato Kganyago as part of the new lineup.
Thus, taking to Twitter, Metro FM presenter Bonang Matheba confirmed her departure to the dismay of fans. Bonang said the following in her tweets on Monday afternoon;
“After 3 years of making magic on the Front Row, I can confirm that I have officially stepped down as the host of the show. I will miss my Metro FM family dearly, as they say all good things do come to an end….Looking forward to the next chapter of my radio life.”
According to Bonang, she was only informed about the changes to her show an hour before she went on air. Nonetheless, the station management proved beyond reasonable doubt that she intentionally avoided the topic till the last minute. Whatsapp messages and emails show the radio host evaded the fact that the reshuffling will affect her.
