Can he walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? Those are words from the good book. The ancestors of\u00a0white South Africans evidently neglected the admonitions embedded in those words when they refused to integrate with the black majority of the South African population\u00a0but\u00a0instead championed the apartheid history.<\/p>\n<p>Now, South Africa is &#8220;officially&#8221; liberated from apartheid, and the white descendants are visited by the sins of their fathers. For despite the wide acknowledgement of the past and present political reign of the ANC as disastrous, the top richest South African Whites who are obviously in a better position to sponsor or campaign for political positions are seemingly uninterested in the political affairs of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps, they are interested, but then,\u00a0they&#8217;ll need a major support from black South Africans in order to thrive in their political career. Such backing is not forthcoming as many\u00a0blacks are apparently overwhelmed with the idea of &#8220;owning South Africa&#8221; just as others fear white leadership meant a repetition of history (apartheid).<\/p>\n<p>As inspired by T<a href=\"http:\/\/www.timeslive.co.za\/politics\/2014\/10\/03\/the-five-richest-white-south-africans---and-their-politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">imeslive<\/a>, see how the top 5 richest white South Africans, richer than their black counterparts, are kept away from politics by the apartheid crimes of their ancestors.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. Johann Rupert (7 Billion)\u00a0Vs\u00a0Patrice Motsepe (1.71 Billion)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1a.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6895\" src=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1a.jpeg\" alt=\"1a\" width=\"1024\" height=\"523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1a.jpeg 938w, https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/1a-300x153.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While Johann Rupert is almost six\u00a0times richer than the richest black South African Patrice Motsepe, the later has obviously aligned with ACN as he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news24.com\/Archives\/City-Press\/Patrice-Motsepe-pays-hefty-sum-for-party-pics-20150429\">reportedly<\/a>\u00a0bid R400 000 for a photograph of the ANC NEC top six members captured at the Mangaung Elective Conference, and another\u00a0R700,000 for a picture of Nelson Mandela framed along the faces of past ANC presidents. He also\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">gave the Nelson Mandela Foundation R<\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Patrice-Tlhopane-Motsepe\">3 million<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">\u00a0a month before Mandela&#8217;s 90th birthday. Nevertheless, Cyril Ramaphosa was elected as the deputy president of the African National Congress party, and thus subsequently became the deputy president of\u00a0South Africa. But the white man, Nicky Oppenheimer, despite his degree in politics has little and negligible involvement in politics.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3.\u00a0Ivan Glasenberg ($4.9 Billion) Vs\u00a0Mosima Gabriel ($200 Million)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/31.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6897\" src=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/31.jpeg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"1024\" height=\"523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/31.jpeg 938w, https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/31-300x153.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is needless to recount Mosima Gabriel&#8217;s involvement in politics as he is a well-known figure in the politics of South Africa. However, let&#8217;s just say his political career got to the point of him aspiring for the presidential position. Meanwhile, Ivan is worth $4.9 billion,\u00a0was born in\u00a0Johannesburg, South Africa and is seemingly uninterested in the politics of South Africa as he&#8217;s often times, regarded more as a citizen of\u00a0Switzerland.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4.\u00a0Christo Wiese ($3.2 Billion) VS\u00a0Sipho Nkosi ($1.63 Million)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/41.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6902\" src=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/41.jpeg\" alt=\"4\" width=\"1024\" height=\"523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/41.jpeg 938w, https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/41-300x153.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>How many 1.63 million are obtainable in 3.2 billion? Too many millions\u00a0right? Well, both men are not involved in politics.
