Thuli Madonsela is a South African advocate and professor of law who is best known for serving as the Public Protector of South Africa from the 19th of October 2009 to 14th October 2016.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n A quick look at South Africa\u2019s Public Protector Thulisile Nomkhosi Madonsela\u2019s tenure in the office brings to mind one of Emma Watson\u2019s quote, which reads \u201cBoth men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong. It’s time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum, not as two opposing sets of ideals.\u201d<\/p>\n It was crystal clear that the strong-willed protector lived up to expectation and also exemplified the idea that what really counts in the pursuit of success are resolve, determination, assertiveness, and honesty; as opposed to gender.<\/p>\n Thuli flawlessly straightened up\u00a0ConCourt case on President Zuma\u2019s Nkandla home upgrade – which is believed to be one of South Africa’s outstanding cases and of course, a plus in her career and future roles. This singular historic achievement will for a lifetime single her out as a\u00a0staunch defender of South Africa’s constitutional values.<\/p>\n
