Since she sensationally portrayed the character of a fashion designer intern in <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/house-of-zwide-cast-the-actors-their-real-names-and-ages\/\"><em>House of Zwide<\/em><\/a>, the rising star has become widely recognized for the role. In addition, her close friends and family affectionately know her by the moniker &#8216;Siks&#8217; and it can be seen on her social media handles.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Sikelelwa Vuyeleni Studied Film at CPUT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In 2020, Sikelelwa Vuyeleni completed a qualification in Film and Video Tech from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She now hopes to pursue a career in Filmography and Videography. The Eastern Cape-born fell in love with arts while in High School. Thus, she attended arts and culture-focused high schools.<\/p>\n<p>She took drama as one of her subjects at Belhar High School and later, at Eersterivier Secondary School. After matriculating from Eersterivier Secondary School in <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/the-20-best-high-schools-in-cape-town\/\">Cape Town<\/a>, Sikelelwa Vuyeleni wanted to study Drama at the <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/university-of-cape-town\/\">University of Cape Town<\/a>. Her application, however, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snl24.com\/drum\/celebs\/news\/khosi-is-no-natasha-sikelelwa-vuyeleni-on-her-next-role-after-adulting-20230424\">rejected<\/a> but fortunately, she gained admission into CPUT.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>At the Age of 15, Sikelelwa Vuyeleni Kickstarted Her Acting Career<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sikelelwa Vuyeleni <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heraldlive.co.za\/amp\/lifestyle\/leisure\/2020-10-30-eastern-cape-actresss-star-on-the-rise\/\">bagged<\/a> her first acting role at the age of 15, while in Grade 10 at Eersterivier Secondary School. An agency signed her after realizing she had been at the forefront of arts and culture, and performance-related projects. The agency told her about the audition for the series <em>Traffic<\/em>, which she went to and was handed the role of Zen.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, her drama teacher, Mrs. Jill Markram, helped to perfect her acting skills and she shared screen space with the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/who-is-kagiso-rakosa-and-where-is-she-now\/\">Kagiso Rakosa<\/a>, Mbulelo Grootboom, and Thembi Mtshali-Jones. Her performance in the police drama series opened doors for more acting roles for her.
