In 2022, when she appeared in <em>Skeem Saam<\/em> as a Grade 8 student, she was actually a Grade 10 student at the time. As a high school student in real life, playing Lewatle has been a fun and memorable experience for the Limpopo native.<\/p>\n<p>She now improves her multi-tasking and time management skills in order to perfectly balance her school activities with her budding acting and modeling careers.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Lewatle Babeile is Mosa Nkwashu&#8217;s First Acting Role<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In January 2022, <em>Skeem Saam<\/em> went back to the high school storyline to tackle the issues of teenage angst, sex, and social media. Hence, the show debuted five new Turfloop High School learners. While Mosa Nkwashu plays the role of Lewatle Babeile, <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/who-is-thabiso-molokomme-from-skeem-saam\/\">Thabiso Molokomme<\/a> plays Paxton Kgomo, Mahlatse Moropo plays Letetswe, <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/who-is-mosebjadi-from-skeem-saam-what-is-her-age-and-real-name\/\">Zizo Sobuhutuyu<\/a> plays Mosebjadi, and Phillip Thobejane plays Mahlatse.<\/p>\n<p>Mosa Nkwashu portrays the character of Sergeant Babeile&#8217;s (Matthews Manamela) daughter, whom he had from his previous relationship. After beginning Grade 8 at Turfloop High, she developed a crush on fellow new student Paxton and would do anything for him. She had lied to her father in a bid to cover up Paxton&#8217;s malicious acts.<\/p>\n<p>On the show, Lewatle and Paxton have been causing havoc and so emerged as the most talked about characters. While Paxton has been of no good, Lewatle always covers up for him, and by confessing her feelings for him, he has been leading her on to get away with everything. Having had much preparation on how to walk in heels in their garage every day, Lewatle from <em>Skeem Saam<\/em> outshined other contestants on the day of the pageant and won the modeling competition. Afterward, she asked her mom to find her a modeling school and a coach to help nurture her talent.<\/p>\n<p>At Curro Thatchfield High School, Mosa Nkwashu had her major modeling break when she won Miss Valentine 2016. She then went ahead to grab the Miss Centurion Schools pageant title two years later and also represented South Africa at the 2018 Model and Talent World Festival in Antalya, Turkey, where she won the Grand Prix Supreme.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Mosa Won Miss Grand South Africa in 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>While in Grade 7 in May 2019, Lewatle from <em>Skeem Saam<\/em> took part in the Miss Grand South Africa pageant held at the Arto Theatre in Pretoria. She ended up getting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizen.co.za\/rekord\/news-headlines\/local-school-news\/2019\/06\/19\/curro-thatchfield-boasts-teen-beauty\/\">crowned<\/a> as the Miss Grand South Africa 2019 &#8211; Young Grand Supreme. During her reign as a teen beauty queen, she engaged in several philanthropic duties. She donated educational materials and groceries to Zodwa Daycare Centre in Thaba Tshwane.<\/p>\n<p>In the same 2019, the 17-year-old actress won many other beauty pageant titles, and they include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Miss Gauteng Teen<\/li>\n<li>Miss Supranational Young Grand Supreme<\/li>\n<li>Miss Intercontinental South Africa Senior Grand Supreme<\/li>\n<li>International Junior Miss South Africa Teen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As Miss South Africa Central Junior Teen, Mosa Nkwashu represented her home country in the International Junior Miss Pageant held in Orlando, Florida, United States, in 2022. She entered the competition with 32 other girls from different countries.
