Most of the cast of the very popular Yizo Yizo have gone on to have successful acting careers since the show, which ran for three seasons, ended in 2004. While some of the Yizo Yizo actors have died, many others are still active in the film industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On January 27th, 1999, Yizo Yizo premiered on SABC1 and followed the story of teachers and students at a troubled high school grappling with anarchy, corruption, and violence. In April 2023, Yizo Yizo was launched on Netflix, and the first two seasons were made available for streaming at the time. The hit series had several cast members who, over time, have become A-list actors in Mzansi.<\/p>\n
