Nimrod Nkosi is a 52 year-old TV presenter, actor, MC, and businessman born on March 22nd, 1972, and known as the host of Lotto Game Show and Utatakho. He is married to Charlene Nkosi.<\/strong><\/p>\n With his career spanning over three decades, Nimrod Nkosi has left an indelible mark in the entertainment industry. He has made his presence felt by working as the host of popular shows such as Jam Alley, Utatakho, Lotto Game Show,<\/em> and AmaBishop<\/em>. Also, he has been featured in many TV series, including The Queen, The Wild,<\/em> and Scandal<\/em>. Amazingly, his super talent has landed him two Avanti Awards for Best Presenter.<\/p>\n Nimrod Nkosi is 52 years old; he was born on March 22nd, 1972, with Aries as his Zodiac sign. In his early 20s, Nkosi began his career, and at 52, he has made a name for himself as a TV presenter, actor, and emcee.<\/p>\n Nimrod Nkosi was born in the City of Johannesburg<\/a>. He was raised by his parents in the most populous city in South Africa. He is fluent in most languages spoken in Johannesburg, such as isiZulu<\/a>, Venda, Xhosa<\/a>, sisSwati, Sesotho, and English. He stated that his parents got married in 1974, and while the union lasted, he watched his mom get physically and psychologically abused by his father.<\/p>\n Eventually, they divorced in 1996, and even when the divorce proceeding was ongoing, his father continued to verbally abuse his mother and himself. At some point, seeing his mom getting slapped now and then, Nimrod Nkosi felt like attacking his father as he would be so angry. Though he was close to beating him up, he couldn’t, having known that his mom didn’t raise that kind of a man.<\/p>\n He disclosed about growing up with an abusive father to address the issue of gender-based violence. As the former Isibaya<\/em><\/a> actor has not yet talked about his siblings, it’s uncertain if he has any.<\/p>\n For his high school education, Nimrod Nkosi attended Centurion Academy. In 1989, he entered the FUBA Academy for Dramatic Arts. There, he studied Acting, Directing, Film, and TV Production and graduated in 1992 with a Diploma in Arts. It was his drama lecturer at the Federated Union of Black Arts (FUBA) who advised him to go for an audition for a presenter role on Jam Alley<\/em>, for which he remains grateful.<\/p>\n In September 1992, at the age of 20, Nkosi worked for Red Pepper Pictures (Pty) Ltd as a TV presenter. After turning down countless auditions, he was encouraged to audition for a presenter role on Jam Alley,<\/em> which he got. He was privileged to work together with the late legendary TV presenter Vinolia “V-Mash” Mashego.
