She eventually became a regular cast member, playing the role of a police officer. In September 2022, after her character was transferred to another police station in Mpumalanga and Lilly was set to leave KwaMashu to start a new life, it was rumored that Noxolo was leaving <em>Uzalo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the show&#8217;s production team made it clear that the 30-year-old was still part of <em>Uzalo<\/em> and wasn&#8217;t going anywhere, Mathula further <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snl24.com\/dailysun\/celebs\/uzalo-actress-lilly-is-going-nowhere-20220923\">reassured<\/a> her fans that she wasn&#8217;t leaving and they would still be seeing her on the show. She started by selling hotdogs in the street and at taxi ranks in KwaZulu-Natal.
