Victoria is a lawyer whereas, Mbali works as an accountant. Musa&#8217;s sisters are married with kids.<\/p>\n<p>Surprisingly, in September 2018, after Musa Mthombeni shared on Instagram that he applied for a passport and it was processed within the shortest time, it was speculated that he was the son of <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/malusi-gigaba-qualifications\/\">Malusi Gigaba<\/a>, then Minister of Home Affairs. Soon after, pictures of the two started circulating on social media and a debate ensued based on their resemblance.<\/p>\n<p>Having taken notice of the rumor, Malusi took to Twitter to acknowledge that he bears the same skin complexion as Mthombeni. He then jokingly invited him for lunch so that they would discuss &#8216;Utatakho&#8217;. Even though it&#8217;s well known that the minister is not the father of Musa Mthombeni, it&#8217;s still uncertain whether he hails from the Gigaba clan.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Musa Mthombeni&#8217;s Qualification<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With his mom being a school teacher, Musa Mthombeni was reportedly homeschooled for a while. Upon completion of high school, he enrolled at the <a href=\"https:\/\/buzzsouthafrica.com\/university-of-witwatersrand\/\">University of Witwatersrand<\/a> in 2006. There, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iol.co.za\/the-star\/news\/its-nice-being-called-dr-musa-16117240\">earned<\/a> a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and his six-year degree included one year of community service at a local clinic and two years of internship.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2023, Musa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news24.com\/life\/arts-and-entertainment\/celebrities\/by-fire-or-by-force-musa-mthombeni-celebrates-latest-academic-success-20230713\">disclosed<\/a> that he had completed the Diagnostic Radiology Board Exams in South Africa and thus, has become a Specialist Radiologist. He is presently pursuing a Masters in Medicine which will be completed shortly. Musa Mthombeni&#8217;s interest is in interventional radiology and he hopes to continue to grow his skill set.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Musa Mthombeni&#8217;s Early Career as a Radio and TV Presenter<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>While in high school, Musa Mthombeni kicked off his TV career and worked as the presenter of daily children&#8217;s programs on YOTV.
