She had a difficult upbringing as her parents were not really well-to-do. She suddenly developed an interest in acting in 2014 while working as a clear in a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p>On one of the days she arrived to work in the clinic, she learned that there was an audition going on close to her place of work. So, she decided to try her luck. She auditioned as an extra but ended up impressing the Uzalo production crew to the extent that she won herself a regular role.<\/p>\n<p>Dlamini resigned from her cleaning job and became a full-time actor. She admitted that her acting job really changed her family&#8217;s life for good, as she was struggling financially before she bagged the role.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since she started acting, life has become easier for her and her late sister&#8217;s kids, who live with her, and she has been able to amass a sizeable income from her salary.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Her Character, Madlala, is a Fan Favourite on Uzalo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ntombifuthi Dlamini portrays the fictional Madlala on the popular TV show, Uzalo. Her character is a keen churchgoer and an elderly woman who loves dating younger men called Ben 10s. Madlala is also friends with the characters Ma Dongwe and Mbatha.<\/p>\n<p>She has excelled on the show from the moment she first debuted on film because of her inherent acting talent. She has remained a part of the program for almost ten years, thanks in part to her impeccable character interpretations, adaptability, and on-screen delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Many Uzalo watchers have grown to love and respect her because of her position. She revealed, however, in an interview that she lives a lifestyle quite different from that of her on-screen persona.<\/p>\n<p>She acknowledged that she is a devout Christian and that she isn&#8217;t into young men in real life.
