As a teenager, she developed an interest in arts and culture, and this propelled her to nurture her talent by taking to public speaking. During such time, she also dabbled as a dramatic performer at National Eisteddfod. Hence, she opted to study acting at the university.<\/p>\n<p>But with her parents not accepting to fund her studies in acting, Nunu then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sowetanlive.co.za\/amp\/s-mag\/culture\/2022-07-08-nqobile-nunu-khumalo-to-sparkle-in-new-role-in-film-jewel\/\">studied<\/a> Journalism at Midrand Graduate Institute in order to please them. While there, she moved on to pursue her passion for acting and had minor roles in some productions, including theatre works. The series follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dstv.com\/mzansimagic\/en-za\/show\/nqobile\/season\/1\/nqobile-is-a-story-of-a-woman-who-conquers-abuse-and-bosses-up-to-rise-in-business\/news\">story<\/a> of a woman who conquers abuse and bosses up to rise in business.
